Bio
Bobbie is the owner of Owens Historic Preservation Services, Ltd located in Central Pennsylvania. Her window restoration career started in 2007 working in the Greater Boston area for Alison Hardy. In 2015, Bobbie's portfolio was accepted & approved as a Specialty Trades Contractor with the Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission working closely with the Division of Preservation & Architecture on state owned properties. Her love is pre1800 structures & sometimes deviates from window restoration. She is a Member of the Window Preservation Alliance.
Bobbie spent her childhood in Central & Western Pennsylvania. She attended Northumberland Christian School & went on to graduate from Bucknell University with a degree in English & History. She has most recently resided in Ipswich, Massachusetts & Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. Bobbie serves on Town Council as Vice President, Planning Commission, & Chairs the Finance Committee. She works closely with Local, County, & State Officials to develop initiatives in flood prone communities with emphasis on resiliency & sustainable practices for property owners with consideration for Historic Properties. Cooking, cycling, travel, & "Aunting" fill her spare time.
