Bio
Jeff is currently happily employed at Belmont College as an adjunct faculty member in the Building Preservation and Restoration program, teaching classes in Decorative Finishes, Decorative Plaster, Chemistry for Conservators and Ceramic Tile Production. He is also the Owner/Operator of Purple Crow Studios in St. Clairsville, Ohio and the vice-president of Artworks Around Town, an artist’s consortium in Wheeling, West Virginia. At Artworks Around Town, Jeff displays and sells handmade jewelry, photography and encaustic wax paintings.
Jeff earned his undergraduate BS in Art Education from Edinboro University, Pennsylvania. He then received his master’s in Art Education, with an emphasis in bronze sculpting, at Miami University of Ohio. He taught for 30 years in the Shadyside Local School District in Shadyside, Ohio, where he taught visual arts, photography and video production. Jeff resides in St. Clairsville, Ohio with his wife Lynne and their four cats.
